Good morning, as I'm writing this at 2AM GMT. Now I was sitting up and thinking to myself, there is quite a few films, I am waiting for this coming summer. Plus a few I'm not so keen on seeing, although I will most likely still end up seeing a few on my not to watch list. SO I made this post giving you a run down of the best to watch for this month.
Okay starting with films, their are only six releases this June to make a note of in my book and because of this, it's going to be set up as, a maximum of; {Name, date of UK airing, two sentences, a rating (based upon, what I thought of the trailer for that said film) and then a yes or no in Italics, after the bold word 'watching'. (If you can't figure out that this is for if I intend on watching this)}
Films
1) The Pact - 8th of June
* A horror film within a another house haunting story. Although its under the same lines of many other horror/thrillers, this one looks as though your missus will be clinging to you arm.Rating: 8/10 (Trailer Looks Shit Your Self Scary!)
Watching: Most definitely be going to see this one ;)
2) Red Lights - 16th of June
* A thriller by the looks of the trailer and a film to watch out for. Are you a sceptic, do you disbelieve before you see the miracle or the answer. So where these and you should see them now.Rating: 7/10 (Trailer looks good but still missing something)
Watching: I will be giving this a watch, although I still have my doubts about it.
3) Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - 20th of June
* Okay, yes I know what your thinking. But this does look as though it will be a good watch, with a good cast and a solid plot. This is not just a fantasy horror, its going to be the fantasy horror!Rating: 8.5/10 (Are you a Patriot or a Vampire)
Watching: Top of my List, make it top of yours too ;)
4) Victim - 22nd of June
* Yes another British film out of London. I know what your thinking but this is just like the rest, it will blow your mind. Great British cast, amazing story line and the best bit, it's BRITISH.Rating: 7.9/10 (Your life's better than most just remember that)
Watching: Damn straight I am.
5) Chernobyl Diaries - 22nd of June
* Back packing the world? Into extreme sports? Then you might find your death just as these did in Chernobyl, if you were smart you'd stay out of RAD zone but then these weren't.Rating: 6.5/10 (Jumpy Trailer but I think it lets the film down)
Watching: Because of the trailer this is in my watch pile but otherwise from the story I'd most likely wait for DVD.
6) Ice Age 4 - 29th of June
* Yet again another children's animation, which most likely will have quite a lot of adult humour hidden and a full set of laughs, which we have grown to expect from the series, lets just hope it lives up to the standards.Rating: 8/10 (Search for any trailer you will not be disappointed)
Watching: Of course
TV
1) Primeval - Series 5 - 16th of this month on ITV. This is to be what I suspect is the last season in the show and should be a good send off.
2) Smallville - Series 10 - 7th of this month on E4. Finally Clark Kent is back and about time too I don't think I could of watched anymore reruns.
3) Camelot - Series 1 - 11th of this month on C4. Okay I have no idea about this but alot of questions are being asked and in five days I will watch it and answer them, hopfully and then maybe write it in a blog.
Peace out! Craig Cremu Cragus Virgo
